It was great to work with Pauline and Gary during my time as Head of Creative at the design and print agency PACE. Pauline heads up the healthy food store 'Sow & Arrow' in Clevedon in Somerset and delivers courses on healthy living and eating. And when she's not doing that, she's authoring books, which is where I came in.
I worked closely with Pauline and Gary throughout the process, from initial concepts and naming to delivery of the artwork ready for print.
We produced a book that struck a nice balance between telling the story of Pauline's journey through imagery and typography that had a hint of fun and a nod to the Sow & Arrow brand. The book was jam-packed with information about healthy eating and the science behind Pauline's recommendations, so interspersing this with appropriate imagery and bold section dividers was essential to help navigation and balance the content.
